The production version of the last revolution of the Toyota iQ is done at 2008 Paris Motorcycle show. Finally near the end of the design at the Geneva show earlier this year, iQ is a city car that is so innovative that – like Toyota Prius – stands as a landmark for the development of interactive drive.

The radical thinking behind the Toyota iQ turns conventional car design on the top. Toyota engineers have been long for unusual redesigned, re-engineer components or in their seats to achieve the goals of a car that is less than three meters long, yet has four seats in the have for the space, or driving fun comfortable.

DESIGN

Five years ago, Toyota launched a program to radically improve vehicle packaging, focusing on innovative solutions for miniaturising key vehicle features. The results of this project formed the basis for the development of the Toyota iQ.

Six Innovations breakthrough IN A VEHICLE PRODUCTION PACKAGING

Multidrive transmission

Outstanding OPERATION AND SAFETY Passive

Toyota iQ benefits from the sophisticated and secure technology to protect drivers, passengers and pedestrians, with a range of innovative features rarely found in small cars.

Integrated with the ABS Brake Assist (BA) and Electronic Brakeforce distribution (EBD) is standard on all models.
