An all-new Jaguar XJ will make public its development in July 2009.

Speaking at Auto Shanghai 2009, Jaguar Cars Managing Director, Mike O’Driscoll confirmed that:

* The all-new Jaguar XJ will go on sale in late 2009 – but will officially be released on July 9 in London.
* The all-new Jaguar XJ is the first feature for the next generation of Jaguar’s aviation-inspired aluminum body architecture.
* All new Jaguar extremely efficient Gen III gasoline and diesel engines will be available in the new XJ, including the acclaimed V6 diesel and 510 bhp supercharged V8.
* There will be a selection criteria or long-wheelbase model.
* The all-new XJ will introduce the highest standards of personal and luxurious specification, including a glass roofs all.

Full details of the all-new Jaguar XJ including pricing will be released on July 9, 2009 for orders and delivery in 2010 will be made at this point.
